For our guests in Saint Gervais, we recommend ski hire from Claude Penz, one of the ski shops at the top of the Bettex cable car, the main lift up out of Saint Gervais resort town.

Their shop is located at the top of the gondola, and you can leave your skis and boots in their secure heated lockers overnight, meaning you are free to explore the town, enjoy some après-ski and return to your hotel in normal shoes! It really is a very convenient option.

Ski Weekender customers of Claude Penz have use of a dedicated locker per group in low season and space in a shared locker in high season (mid-February – mid-March).

Claude Penz ski hire shop is open between 08:30 – 18:30, although the last gondola back down is usually between 17:00 – 18:00 depending on whether you are there in low or high season. Please ensure you check that in advance.

Prices below are confirmed for winter 2019-2020 and include a 10% discount for Ski Weekender guests (already removed from prices below). You will receive the discount voucher in your Welcome Pack on arrival at your hotel – there is no need to pre-book your ski hire.
