Due to the ongoing challenges provided by Covid-19 – we have sadly taken the decision not to operate the Aravis Lodge this coming winter ski season (2020/21).

It’s the home and heart of Ski Weekender, but without the full team providing our awesome service, and the exciting buzz of guests sharing in a sociable, convivial atmosphere, it just wasn’t going to provide the same experience.
And we don’t want to do things by half…

However, it will be back for Winter 2021/22 – full details of which will be coming soon.

If time is short but you still need a skiing fix, these great value short breaks are for you – use your Christmas holiday wisely and escape to the slopes with the minimum of hassle. This year our Christmas and New Year packages will run with Sunday and Wednesday change-over dates, due to where the national holidays fall.

Our festive short ski breaks are as follows:

• 3-day Festive midweek ski break: Sunday 20th – Wednesday 23rd December 2020 = £399 * / £429 **pp
• 4-day Christmas weekend ski break: Wednesday 23rd – Sunday 27th December 2020 = £589 * / £629 **pp
• 3-day Inter-festive midweek ski break: Sunday 27th – Wednesday 30th December 2020 = £469 * / £499 **pp

Over this period, the 4-day weekend break will be fully catered on a half-board basis, with a buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course evening meal plus wine included every night (please see below for further details about meals on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

Please note – for our 3-day midweek breaks from Sunday 20th and Sunday 27th December, your evening meal is not included on the Tuesday evening, as it’s our chefs’ night off. However, there are plenty of places to eat locally for those evenings, and a restaurant guide will be provided.

Included in all prices: full Aravis region ski lift pass, catered chalet-hotel stay & short airport transfers from Geneva in our fixed transfer windows.

We also have 2 x weeklong Christmas ski options if you really want to make the most of the festive holiday season.

Please note – this is with the exception of Tuesday evenings, when your meal is not provided as it’s our chefs’ night off. However, there are plenty of places to eat locally for those evenings, and a restaurant guide will be provided. This is the perfect opportunity for you to try some local specialities and experience the neighbouring resort of La Clusaz in the evening if you wish.

We will celebrate Christmas 2020 in style with fine food and drink, surrounded by beautiful Christmas trees and traditional decorations. The magic of the snowy winter wonderland outside, coupled with our cosy, festive chalet-hotel creates an unforgettable Christmas – with either friends or family.

What could be more exciting than skiing at Christmas, whilst having all of your needs taken care of? Just think – no washing up or housework the whole time and plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied!

Christmas Eve begins with a reception with bubbles and canapés, followed by a delicious buffet dinner with red and white wine.

Christmas Day starts in a relaxed fashion with a cooked breakfast; despite the festivities the resort is fully open with all the ski lifts running so you can spend Christmas Day skiing and enjoy a full day on the slopes.

On your return to the Lodge you can enjoy tea and Christmas cake, followed by a traditional Christmas turkey dinner with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding to finish later that evening. We can also cater for other dietary requirements, including vegetarians and vegans, as well.
