With this being our own home base, we have much more flexibility as to what we can offer our guests.
We think this is a fantastic advantage for our guests who stay at the Aravis Lodge, which keeps them coming back…
The main development in La Clusaz for winter 2018 – 19 was the new fast 6-person chair lift for Cret du Merle.
This will significantly improve the capacity & speed of uplift from the village centre, alongside the new lift station.
The name has changed & the Aravis Mountains now becomes incorporated into the wider Annecy Mountains brand.
This is a recognition of the strong links our home resorts of La Clusaz & Le Grand Bornand have with the town of Annecy.
Our base for short ski breaks is the Aravis Lodge in St Jean De Sixt, 5 minutes from La Clusaz & Grand Bornand.
We also offer skiing holidays in Les Contamines, St Gervais & Samoëns, all under 90 minutes from Geneva airport.
We used to be able to offer ‘ski hosting’, to show you the best slopes, restaurants, views etc.
Due to rigorously enforced legislation in France, we can no longer offer this, so are introducing our new Snow Rep Service instead.
An unforgettable chance to ski or snowboard until 1am with just the light of the full moon to guide your way!
You can stop at mountain bars on the way to enjoy live music, vin chaud and soak up the fantastic atmosphere…
Sometimes going on a ski holiday or short ski break can be a bit off-putting for some single or solo skiers.
Here at Ski Weekender, we don’t think you should have to miss out on the fun as a result of travelling on your own…
There’s a huge amount of improvement work taking place in the Aravis, to get ready for the 2017-2018 ski season.
With major projects take place in both Le Grand Bornand & La Clusaz ski resorts, it’s a hive of activity.
